1. Who we are

AgeDefy, LLC ("AgeDefy", "we", "us") operates this website and connects patients with independent, licensed clinicians who provide care by virtual visit. AgeDefy is not a medical practice, a pharmacy or a prescriber. Clinical decisions are made by the treating provider; medications are dispensed by licensed pharmacy partners.

This policy explains what we do with information we hold about you. Information your treating provider holds about you as a patient is governed by that provider’s own notice of privacy practices.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you give us — name, contact details, date of birth, and anything you enter into a form, questionnaire or message.
Information created during care — appointment records, intake responses, lab results and prescription details, received from your provider or our clinical partner.
Information collected automatically — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referring site, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Protected health information

Where AgeDefy handles protected health information (PHI) on behalf of a covered entity, we do so as a business associate under HIPAA and under a written business associate agreement. We use and disclose PHI only as that agreement and applicable law permit.

Our scheduling and consultation platform is operated by our clinical partner, Heally, on a HIPAA-compliant infrastructure.

To connect you with a licensed provider and schedule your visit
To arrange fulfilment and delivery of prescribed medications
To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support
To operate, secure and improve our website and services
To send service messages about your account, orders or appointments
To send marketing communications where you have opted in, which you can stop at any time
To comply with legal, regulatory and professional obligations

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

Treating providers and their practices, so that they can deliver care
Licensed pharmacy partners and laboratories, to fill prescriptions and process tests
Service providers who host, process payments for, or support the platform, under contract and only for those purposes
Legal and safety — where required by law, subpoena or regulator, or to protect the rights and safety of any person
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences and understand how the site is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; some features may not work if you do. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where required.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA.

8. Security and retention

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here and to meet legal, tax and medical-record retention requirements, which vary by state.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, where the change is material, give notice through the site or by email.
